Situated approximately 50 kilometers from Frankfurt, 60 kilometers from Heidelbeg and right in the heart of sunny Odenwald, the small city of Höscht is ideal for youngsters. The city - with a population of only 9,000 - is an intimate and safe city for young students wanting to learn German.

The residence is an old monastery that has since been totally restored and boasts fantastic classrooms and sports installations.
On the first Monday following their arrival but prior to their first class, students will complete a language test to determine the German language course level right for them.
The program consists of 20 general German classes per week in small groups of no more than 15 students. Our team of highly qualified professors push students learn and understand German grammar and vocabulary but always make sure to maintain a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. The teaching method is created by a special team of German professors specialized in teaching German as a second language. To assure that our high standards are complied with, this team will be constantly visiting the classes to supervise and give advice ot the professors.
Students who want a more intensive course also have the option of taking 24 lessons per week.
Staying in our residence is a great way for students who want to both learn a foreign language as well as make friends from around the world.
Students will share double and triple rooms, each of which has its own bathroom. Each student will be provided with a closet and locked safe. The rooms are cleaned on a daily basis and bed linens are provided. However, students will have to bring their own towels. The program includes full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner).
We plan a series of activities during the afternoons after classes as well as during the evening hours. Students can participate in sports, games, cultural visits and crafts, like decorating masks, painting t-shirts, origami, etc.
The team of counselors come up with a variety of options, but - of course- they are always open to students' suggestions.
The excursions arranged during the students' stay aim to expose students to new places and landscapes as well as further explore Germany's offerings. Students will have time to shop and students will also be provided with a guided city tour so that they can genuinely get to know the city in which they are living.
All excursions are planned ahead of time and later evaluated during class. The team of professors accompanies students to all excursion destinations.
