Students will be divided into groups according to their level of German, which is determined with a level test taken on the first Monday of class.
The course consists of 20 lessons of general German per week in groups of no more than 15 students. For those students that wish to take a more intensive course, there is also an option of taking 24 lessons per week.
Each lesson is equivalent to 45 minutes of class.
Staying in a residence is an ideal option for those students who wish to learn a foreign language while making friends from around the world.
Students will stay in triple or quadruple rooms with private bathrooms. Each bedroom also has a closet with a safety deposit box. Cleaning is done on a daily basis and sheets and towels are provided. All students have a full board meal plan included in the program.
A series of activities are organized during the free afternoons, every night and following afternoon classes: sports, games, excursions, arts and crafts, etc. The excursions during the stay are organized with the intention of changing places and scenery while also giving students the opportunity to discover more about Germany. Time is provided for shopping and there are also guided tours of the city, which helps them get to know the city in which they are living. Full-day excursions will be to places like Salzburg, Munich or Chiemsee Lake while half-day excursions will be to places like Obersalzberg or Königssee Lake.
Students will be welcomed by school staff upon their arrival to the Munich Airport; school staff will also accompany them to the airport the day of their departure.
