This impressive school is located int eh small fishing town of Fleetwood, located in northeastern England in Lancashire country and just one hour from the international airport of Machester and Liverpool. Just a few kilometers away you'll find the cities of Cleveleys and Poulton, which offer our students cinemas, banks, clothing shops and supermarkets. A 10 minute train ride away is Blackpool, one of the most well-known vacation destinations, where our students will go on some of their excursions.

The program takes place in the prestigious Rossall School, founded in 1844 and recognized today as one of the United Kingdom's most reputable mixed boarding schools. Surrounded by 64 hectares of land, it offers buildings such as a 19th century chapel, library and planetarium that compete with modern facilities that include spacious classrooms, a turf field, a gymnasium, squash courts, a climbing wall and an archery field, amongst others.

The school also has wireless Internet, meaning students will also have Internet access.

Classes

All students will take an obligatory level test on the first day to determine each student's level of English and corresponding course level. The maximum number of students per class is 15.

Students may choose betwen 15 or 20 hours per week of class. Students participating in the specific sports programs must enroll in the 15-hour course due to sports scheduling.

Accommodation

Students will be grouped by age and sex. Students will stay in single or double rooms (distributed by school directors) with a full board meal plan. The residential buildings also have student lounges and TV rooms.

Program Categories

  • English + Multi Activities: program of 15 or 20 weekly hours of English with participation in diverse sports and leisure activities.
  • English + Football: program of 15 weekly hours of English with 20 hours per week of practice and learning in the Manchester United team's prestigious football school, whose coaches are recognized by the UEFA.
  • English + Horseback Riding: program of 15 weekly hours of English and three afternoons of horseback riding and horse care.
  • English + Tennis: program of 15 weekly hours of English and 3 afternoons per week of tennis practice.
  • English + Basketball: program of 15 weekly hours of English and 6 weekly hours of basketball divided into 3 afternoons, when will practice their turns, passes and rebounds, amongst other skills.
  • English + Karate; karate fans can participate in this unique program that combines 15 hours of English with 3 afternoons of karate practice per week. The program includes aspects of Kihon, Kata, basic Kumite and basic self-defense.
  • English + Golf: students will have 15 hours of English + 3 afterrnoons per week of golf classes. Skills taught and practiced include driving, chipping, posture, putting, swings or error analysis, amongst others.

Activities, Sports & Excursions

The program includes a diverse daily program that includes cultura, athletic and leisure activities. Students will enjoy two excursions per week: one full-day excursion to places like Chester, the Lake Dstrict the Blackpool theme park, and one half-day excursion to places like Manchester, Blackpool Pleasure Beach or hiking at Indoor.

Counselors & Information

The group that leaves from Madrid - Barajas Airport will be accompanied at all times by one of Enforex's Spanish counselors. He or she will accompany the students during the entire stay in England and will return with them to Madrid.
