Program with Spanish supervisor: 3 weeks from July 2 to July 22
This program takes individual students from June 17 until August 26, accepting them on any of the Sundays and helping them to settle in for the duration of the course. The program takes place from Sunday to Sunday.
The program is run by one of Cambridge's most prestigious organizations, which has been teaching English to international students for over 40 years. The center boats 22 classrooms, a cafeteria (where students eat Monday through Friday), free Internet access and sporting facilities which are just a ten minute walk away from the main buildings.
The program includes 20 classes (45 minutes each) for a total of 15 hours per week. Classes are given at different levels, ranging from beginner to high intermediate; each student's level is determined by way of a level test taken on the first day of class.
Students will stay with carefully selected families where they will share a room with another international student. Meals are based on a full board plan (from Monday to Friday, meals will be prepared in the school cafeteria). Families are located between 20 and 30 minutes from the school via public transport.
After classes and after dinner, there is a wide range of sports, cultural and recreational activities. The program also includes one full-day excursion per week to the most interesting places around the Cambridge area.
The program includes the transfer to and from the airport on both the day of arrival and departure. Transfers for students who are traveling on a different day from the rest of the group will be carried out by local supervisors who will wait for the student on the day of arrival and help them on the day they return. If arrivals and departures do not occur on a Sunday, there will be a supplement for the transfer. Transfers are only carried out to and from Heathrow and Stanstead airports.
If the program is carried out on the dates of arrival and departure with a Spanish supervisor, students will be under the supervision and assistance of both our supervisor and local supervisors throughout the duration of their stay.
Those students who undertake the program on their own will be able to receive assistance at any point by the local supervisors.
