English Summer Course in Dublin, Ireland

The Program
Our program is aimed at those students - ages 15 through 17 - who want to learn English and live together with other adolescents from around the world in an international and multi-cultural environment.
Along with Spanish students, this program also welcomes teenagers from Italy, Russia, Slovakia and Germany, meaning that all students will constantly be pushed to use English as the common language.
Academic Center
The summer program in Dublin takes place in a school situated about 2 kilometers from the center of Dublin. The campus features beautiful stone buildings dating back to the past century as well as sports fields where students can play football, volleyball, basketball, etc.
Course Characteristics
When students spend the summer in Dublin learning English, they will be immersed in 15 English classes each week, given by licensed professors specialized in teaching English as a second language. A special emphasis is placed on oral communication, as students work on vocabulary, pronunciation and listening.
At the end of the four-week program, students will receive a report card detailing their attitude and academic achievement as well as reports from the professors and counselors.
Accommodation
Students will reside in a newly-constructed residence boasting apartments with 3, 4, or 5 individual rooms, a common room and a private bathroom.
Participants will be able to use the university's laundry facilities.
Activities & Sports
During the afternoons, students can participate in a variety of sports and leisure activities, both on and outside of the campus.
Following dinner, there are scheduled social programs to complete the day: treasure hunts, karaoke, Irish music night, disco on campus, etc.
Excursions
Students will go on one full-day and one partial-day excursion each week, on which they will enjoy supervised and guided visits to places of great cultural and historical importance. Entry fees and private transportation costs are included for all excursions.
Counselors
Students will have the constant assistance and supervision provided by both Irish and Spanish counselors.
