Canadian camps are undoubtedly the summer camps that enjoy a better reputation in the world. Meant for Canadian students who wish to spend their summer holidays in contact with astonishing natural surroundings while they practice various sports, they have recently opened their doors to international students who want to have a total language immersion.
Imagine spending your summer on a sailboat, canoe or kayak in a beautiful lake in Muskoka, mountain biking on the woods' trails or singing songs around a bonfire... this and much more is waiting for you at Swallowdale. since 1943, this camp has received Canadian and international students in its more than 30 hectares of woods and hills next to Lake Fairy's coast. It is located 3 hours north of Toronto.
7 - 16 years old
Students can join the camp on these dates: June 30, July 7, 14, 21 & 28
The duration of the camp is from a minimum of 2 weeks to a maximum of 4.
The school closes on August 10.
Arrivals on Sundays and departures on Saturdays.
The program is organized by one of the most prestigious Canadian organizations. the students which assist the program will enjoy large cabins, a dining room, art lounges, wood handcrafts workshops, sports grounds, archery fields, tennis and basketball courts, a private dock witha large beach to swim and saila boat, canoe or kayak...
The accommodation in this camp will be in the typical Candian cabins that lodge 8 to 12 students. Each cabin has its own private bathroom, although there are additional toilets and showers in the central camp area. The treatment is full board, including an afternoon snack.
The students will be able to choose from a vast array of sports, such as basketball, mountain biking, football, tennis, kayak, swimming, boat sailing or windsurf. Furthermore, there are daily specialization activities like arts and handicrafts, woodworking, or drama classes. The program includes a one-day shopping trip to Huntsville, Swallowdale.
Students will have the constant assistance and supervision provided by both local counselors, as they all stay in the camp. Local counselors will welcome the students at their arrival at the airport and assist them on their return date.
