The Republic of Malta is a small and densely-populated island-country located in southern Europe. It's formed by an archipelago - made up of the islands of Malta, Gozo and Comino - and is located south of Italy, 90 kilometers from Sicily and north of Libya.
Following being granted its independence in 1964, Malta continued to maintain the traffic system, the administration and the judicial system of its British roots. English is the island's official language and the education system is essentially British, an element which gives its language schools a great reputation throughout Europe.

The program takes place in an excellent school located inland and very close to the university. The campus features tennis courts, a five-a-side football field, a gymnasium with basketball and badminton courts, a cafeteria, and a student lounge.
Students will have 20 lessons of English in small classes of international students (maximum 15 students per class). In order to place students in the correct course level, they will take a language test on the very first day.
Students will stay in a hotel-residence (3-stars). Rooms accommodate 3 or 4 students and a private bathroom and air-conditioning.
Students will be housed according to age and gender, and will have the 24- hour supervision provided by our counselors.
The program provides full board (all meals). Breakfast and dinner will be eaten in the residence, while students will have a "packed lunch" for their mid-day meal.
The school takes care of all transportation, in private buses, to/ from the school, excursions and activities.
Even though Malta is a relatively small island, we offer a diverse program of activities and excursions. The program includes daily activities like parties, visits to fishing villages and coral caves, karaoke, sports...
There will also be one full-day excursion organized each week to beautiful places such as island of Comino or to the Blue Grotto.
Malta is widely believed to be one of the meccas of scuba-diving. The scuba-divin program lasts for two weeks and is designed to help students get the "Padi Open Water" (Level 1) license. It consists of 5 theoretical classes with 5 immersions and immersions in the sea. Students who have completed level 1 can participate in the "Advanced Open Water" course.
Students will be accompanied at all times by local counselors as well as our own Spanish counselors that depart and return with the group.
