Family Program in Malta

The location of Malta in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea makes it an ideal place to study English during any time of the year. It's part of an archipelago of three islands along with Gozo and Comino; Malta is the most important of the three. Due to its strategic location, Malta has been occupied by Phoenicians, Romans, Arabs, the Knights of Saint John, French, English... all of whom have left their influences on the island.

Malta was a British colony from 1814 until gaining its independence in 1964; the 150 years of British occupation of intensely marked the country and its language. English is one of the two official languages of Malta, the Maltese drive on the left side of the road and they like a typical English breakfast. The island's most important newspaper is also in English.

Malta is without a doubt a perfect destination for families thanks to the wonderful combination of good weather, the sea, activities and English.
