Leysin is located at an altitude of some 1,264 meters in the Swiss Alps - an incredible spot in the heart of Europe.
Undoubtedly one of the jewels of Vaud district's Alps, Leysin is a beautiful city in French-speaking Switzerland. It also boasts an exceptional climate as well as well-developed sports organizations and infrastructures.
Combining the traditional charm and vibrant liveliness inherent to Leysin, a summer vacation destination and wintertime skier's paradise, this "resort" offers visitors a wide range of activities all year-round. Situated just a short distance from Lake Geneva, from the Swiss Riviera (Montreux and Vevey), and from Lausanne, Leysin is an excellent starting point for a variety of fantastic excursions. Plus, the city is easy to get to (and from), as it's located just 20 minutes from the European highway network, 90 minutes from the Geneva Airport, and has an excellent train service.

Students may begin their program on any Sunday between July 1 and August 5.
Programs run from Sunday to Saturday.
Our schools are ideally located in the city of Leysin. Both centers offer students spacious classrooms, athletic facilities, restaurants, cinemas, pools, large green spaces as well as a pool, whether at the school or a short walk away.
In the school for 8 - 14 year olds the students will have the possibility of either 15 or 20 lessons per week of French or English while in the school for 13 - 17 year olds students will have a choice between 20 or 25 lessons of French per week. Students aged 13 to 17, if they wish, can further improve their conversation skills by opting for the 'Conversation Plus' program which includes 2 lessons per week focused exclusively on conversation. Each lesson is equivalent to 45 minutes.
The students from 8 to 14 years old will stay in four-person rooms while students at the campus for ages 13 to 17 will stay in double, triple, or four bed rooms, to be determined by the school. Both schools include a full board meal plan. Every room has a private bathroom, television and telephone.
The team of local counselors organizes a daily schedule of activities for the afternoons following classes. At night, students can continue practicing French with their peers by partaking in a variety of activities, such as BBQs, movie nights, discos, etc. Each week there is one half-day excursion and, on Sunday, one full-day excursion to such inviting places as the Castle of Chillon, Lausanne's Interactive Olympic Museum, and the city of Geneva, among others.
Tennis: 3 sessions per week (both groups)
Horse Riding: 3 sessions per week
Dance: 3 sessions per week of hip-hop, jazz, salsa, modern dance etc. (13 - 17 year olds)
Adventure Sports: 3 sessions per week in which students will go on mountain bike rides, zipwires etc. (13 - 17 year olds).
The airport transfers included in the price are for Sunday arrivals between 11am and 3.30pm and Saturday departures between 10am and 4pm.

* In accordance with the guidelines established by airline companies, students under the age of 13 will have to pay an additional 100€ for somebody to supervize them on the airplane, which should be paid to the relevant airline company.
