Margate is a tiny coastal city with special charm located in Kent County. It's a traditional fishing village known for its beautiful port.
Everything in Margate is accessible by foot: bars, cinemas, sporting centers, pools and the beach. The historic cities of Canterbury and Dover are just 25km away, as well as larger cities like London (at 80km) and Brighton. Very close, at just 60km, you can visit the famous Leeds Castle, or at 25km, the thousand-year old Canterbury Cathedral and, even closer, at 12km, the medieval city of Sandwich.

Families
All the families are carefully selected to offer you a warm and friendly setting with hosts who understand the needs of students of different nationalities. On the first day, they'll explain to you how to arrive at the school. You'll stay in a single room with full board every day of the week. The homes are located in walking distance from the school.
Cultural Activities
The school's social planners organize a weekly activity program open to all students. During the first week there will be a welcome party so you can get to know your fellow participants at the school.
You can also enjoy a variety of sports and cultural activities. There will be optional half-day and full-day excursions to place like London, Oxford, Cambridge, Canterbury and Leeds Castle.
