About Canterbury, England

Study in Canterbury

The small city of Canterbury has just over 40,000 inhabitants and represents a city that's small in population but big in terms of symbolic value. Canterbury's Cathedral is located in the historic city center in the heart of Kent. Kent is known as England's garden and the area surrounding the city has been heralded on numerous occasions for its outstanding natural beauty.

The city of Canterbury is also home to the 20,000 students attending its two universities. Here you'll find all sorts of bars, cafes, clubs, pubs and a modern shopping cetner full of life. This, combined with the charm of its age-old streets, its medieval architecture and its shops, makes this city a fascinating place to discover.
