The big apple, the city that never sleeps, the capital of the world, or simply New York. It is the most populated city in the state of the same name and of the whole of the United States. It is the heart of the metropolitan area of New York which is the largest agglomeration in the world. For over a century it has been one of the world center's for commerce and finance.
New York is considered to be a global city given its influence at international level in communication, politics, education, entertainment and fashion. The cultural and artistic influence of the city is one of the strongest in the country and you will also find the head office of the United Nations, which has become an important point in international relations. The city comprises 5 boroughs, each of which coincides with a county: Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens and Staten Island.

Depature and arrival with Spanish supervisor: from July 1 to July 22
* There is the option of taking this course for 2 weeks. In this case, students will travel without the assistance of a supervisor on one of their journeys.
The program takes place at the prestigious St John's Univeristy campus, situated in the famous neighborhood of Queens in the city and just 30 minutes from Manhattan. The campus offers a broad spectrum of sporting facilities and communal areas as well as having wifi (wireless internet) available throughout the campus. There are two theaters and a large BBQ area. Classes are given each morning by the University's teaching staff throughout the duration of the stay and students will receive a certificate from the university.
Students will take a level test on their first day to determine which class corresponds to their level. 20 lessons per week will be taken from Monday to Friday in international groups. Each lesson is equivalent to 45 minutes of class.
Accommodation is on the same campus where students will stay in double rooms with central air and a private bathroom. For every 2 bedrooms there is a shared bathroom composing of 2 hand basins, 1 shower and a WC. Accommodation is offered on a full board basis.
The program includes a varied and complete selection of activities both after class and after dinner. The students will enjoy activities in the city of New York every afternoon: Times Square, the MOMA, Radio City Music Hall, the Empire State Building, Ground Zero or the Metropolitan. Also included in the program is a full day excursion on Saturday to cities such as Philadelphia.
Throughout the program, students will be accompanied by Spanish supervisors at all times.
