Rich in history, Chicago is situated in the state of Illinois and wraps around Lake Michigan's southern coast. It is home to one of the world's tallest skyscrapers (the Sears Tower) and is one of the USA's most important centers of finance, culture and international commerce.
The academic center in Chicago is located in the fascinating Chicago Loop, the center of Chicago and the modern business destrict with theaters and shopping. From here it is just a short journey to the parks which border Lake Michigan.

Carefully chosen by the school itself, participating host families are located a 15-45 minute walk away. These typical North American families welcome students and provide them with a pleasant atmosphere in which to practice and improve their language skills. The student will have an individual room and the meal plan will be half-board every day of the week.
This is a great way to make friends and live the life of a typical American student. Students will reside with both American and international students, eat meals together in the cafeteria and share the sports installations. The residence is just 25 minutes from the school and students will have a single room. Residences have a kitchen.
