About Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife, Spain
Set in the Atlantic Ocean off the western coast of Morocco, the Canary Islands enjoy a mild climate all year-round. In fact, Tenerife - the largest of the islands - is popularly known as the "island of eternal spring."
Tenerife is virtually a natural paradise. Its diverse landscapes include volcanic black sand beaches, national parks, mountains, cliffs, banana plantations and - of course - Mount Teide, the island's soaring volcano. Many of the island's natural wonders are protected by UNESCO.
Plus, with so much to discover and explore, in Tenerife you can partake in all sorts of exciting activities all year-round: horseback-riding, golf, scuba-diving, windsurfing, kayaking, canyoning, hiking, fishing, whale-watching... the list is endless!
Tenerife is also renowned for its famous Carnival celebrations (February - March), when the island's main squares and roads fill up with parties, parades, samba shows and live music.

The Spanish Language School
Located in the beautiful northern city of Puerto de la Cruz, our Tenerife partner boasts an ideal location- ten minutes from the City Hall, five minutes from the Martiánez Beach and two minutes from the "Lago Martiánez".
Lago Martianez is one of Puerto de la Cruz's greatest attractions; it's a group of seawater pools conceived by local artist Cesar Manrique, where bathers can enjoy the sun, water and beautiful surrounding gardens.
The facilities of the school itself, housed in a traditional Canaries-style building, feature: 7 classrooms with natural light and multimedia equipment, an interior patio, a teachers' room, a reception office, and a common room with TV, stereo, library and videos. It's a small and familiar school with the capacity for 170 students.
