The French School in Montreux

Our school is located in the center of Montreux on the city's most lively and busy street. It is located at a 5-minute walk from the bus stop and the train station and 10 minutes away from movie theaters, malls, bars and restaurants, as well as sporting clubs and the Casino.

Facilities include brightly lit classrooms, a shaded terrace, a balcony with views of the lake and the most modern equipment and pedagogical materials. You will be able to meet with other students in the cafeteria and use the internet for free with the school's computers.

Accommodations

Families

The vast majority of our students choose to stay with a host family, given that your daily interaction with the family will optimize your language practice time, as well as help you improve your listening comprehension and learn typical Swiss expressions and customs in a pleasant, authentic atmosphere.

The student will stay in a double or individual room with either breakfast only or a half board meal plan every day of the week.

Apartments

The student apartments are located in the center of Montreux at just a few minutes from the academic center. Many types of apartments are available with one, two or three bedrooms, and you will choose between a double or individual room.

All apartments are equipped with a bathroom with shower, common area with television, equipped kitchen, washing machine and a 24-hour internet connection.

Cultural activities

The region around Montreux holds many parks and museums, as well as a full infrastructure to practice all types of outdoor and indoor sports, in the mountains or in the water. You can take land and aquatic excursions to attend concerts and all kinds of cultural events for different interests.

The school's social team works hard to organize trips and activities to help you discover Montreux, the Riviera region and its surroundings. During low season, there will be one activity per week and during high season, two. These may be a visit to the Chillon Castle, steamboat trips on the lake, going bowling or to other leisure centers.
