This is the most popular housing option. Our carefully selected families offer single room and half board (breakfast and dinner). The majority of families live close to the center of the city and the school, at a maximum 30 minute bus or train ride. Our host families are chosen specifically for their hospitality and their interest in sharing their home and culture with visitors from other countries.

Other accommodation options include staying in a student hourse, for minimum stays of 4 weeks. Students can also stay in hostels, guest houses and hotels of different star ratings. Most of these options can be found a short distance away from either of the schools.

Cultural Activities

An important part of the stay is having the opportunity to discover the city, meet new people and learn more about South Africa. The social activities department boasts great experience organizing different weekly activities both in the afternoon and at night, not to mention day trips in the city and outside, providing a great way to get to know the locals.
