About Montpellier, France
Montpellier is a lively university city of 250,000 with a lovely historic center full of narrow, picturesque streets and elegant 16th century mansions.
Set just a few kilometers from long beaches, both the city and its surroundings possess a special beauty. Montpellier's location between Provence, Camargue, and the Pyrenees and Cévennes Mountains, allows you the opportunity to take lots of trips and enjoy an excellent climate with long summers and mild winters.
The French School in Montpellier
This language organization has two centers, one in Montpellier's historic core, the other in the city center on a shopping street right next to the main park. It's just a 3-minute walk from one center to the other.
Both schools are just a short stroll from the “Esplanade Charles de Gaulle” and the city's most important historic monuments. Besides spacious classrooms, all air conditioned, facilities include: rooms with TV/DVD/strereo and 22 computers with flat screen at our students' disposal.

General French Courses
- Program: 20 or 30 lessons of 50 minutes per week
- Course duration: minimum of 2 and up to 52 weeks

Combined French Course

Accommodations
Families
Single room with half board from Monday to Friday and full board on weekends. All families live within a 5-minute walk and 20-minute bus ride from the school.
University Residences
Studio (18m2) that includes a private bathroom and kitchen. The residences are located in the center of the city at a short walk from the French school.
Aparthotel
The Aparthotels*** offer 3-star housing for one or two students (two students, request in advance). The size is about 25m2 and include a private bathroom (shower, sink and toilet) plus a fully equipped kitchen with refridgerator and stove, telephone and television. They are located at a 15-minute walk from the academic center and you'll also have a pool at your disposal!
Cultural Activities
Cultural activities play an essential role in learning a language, so we offer all types of social and cultural gatherings as well as trips. Activities are always announced ahead of time and accompanied by professionals.
Some of the typical activities offered are: guide of historic Montpellier, the Agropolis Museum, crepe dinner, the Arget Museum, bar social with professors and trips to Camargue, Uzes, Pont du Gard and Avignon.
