Cultural Activities

Vancouver's city center and some of its larger neighborhoods are located on a small peninsula bordered by the English Bay to the west and the Burrard Inlet to the east, just two of the many bodies of water that adorn this attractive costal landscape. Here in the center is where you'll find the majority of restaurants and shops.
You can also visit the the city's stunning surroundings: the Whistler ski slopes are close to the coast and there are many beaches both inside and outside the city. The U.S. border is just 40km away, and of course you have the rest of Canada just waiting to be explored.
Besides taking a ski trip to Whistler Mountain, some other great weekend trips are traveling to the city of Victoria or basking in the sands of Long Beach.
