BRUTON
Bruton is located two hours southwest of London and approximately 40 minutes from both Bath and Salisbury. The school is a ten-minute walk from Bruton, a small and tranquil town in the heart of Somerset.

Academic Center
The Bruton School is a beautiful private school spread over more than 40 acres. Its magnificent campus boasts excellent facilities. .
Classes
15 hours per week in small groups (maximum of 15 students). Upon arrival to the center all students will take a test to establish their level of English. The English course is obligatory for all students, regardless of the program they choose.
Accommodation
The school campus has various "Houses" that serve as accommodations. The students, divided by age and sex, stay in single, double, triple, quadruple, and even 5- or 6-person rooms.
All meals will be held in the college dining hall, with the exception of excursion days for which students will bring a packed lunch.
Activities, Sports & Excursions
Students will be able to choose between:
- Multi-Activity Program
A great option for those students that don't wish to spend all of the afternoons practicing one specific sport, but rather a variety of diverse activities. Participants can choose between cultural activities (theater, handicrafts, drawing, painting...) or sports activities (tennis, football, rugby, archery, ping-pong, water polo, hockey...)
- English + English Program
Participants that want to focus more on learning the language can choose this program, which inclues 8 additional hours of English per week in small groups emphasizing conversation and grammar. This program is complementary to the General English course.
- Tennis Program
Two hours per day, four days per week on the school's very own tennis courts. The classes are given by professional trainers of the Lawn Tennis Assocation (LTA) to groups of varying levels (not appropriate for absolute beginners).
- Horseback-Riding Program
This program is held in an excellent equestrian center near the school. The program includes one hour on the hourse and one hour of stable management. Total of two hours per day, four days per week.
- Golf Program
Four afternoons per week on a wonderful nine-hole course taught by an excellent pro. All players with a handicap will have the opportunity of playing at least two rounds on nearby 18-hole courses (not appropriate for absolute beginners).
- Dance Program
Taught by an excellent, highly-qualitifed professor, the program takes place three hours a day, four afternoons per week in perfectly-equipped dance studio. The program includes Ballet and Jazz (not appropriate for beginners).
- Music Program
Four hours per week with a private, native professor. Piano, guitar, violin, harp, cello and practically all other instruments are included in this program.
All of the programs also include one half-day excursion per week (Cheddar, Gorge, Wookey Hole, Longleat, Bath, Weymouth, Wells, Salisbury & Stonehenge) and one full-day excursion (Oxford, Cardiff, London, Portsmouth, Exeter, Bristol). Students can also participate in fun activities after dinner, such as disco, karaoke, barbecues, parties....
Counselors & Information
Students are accompanied at all times by a Spanish counselor as well as a native counselor.
